Among the families compared here, Aerotech’s Automation1 HyperWire publishes the highest figures: a 2 Gbps fibre-optic bus at 100 kHz for up to 32 axes with sub-nanosecond jitter. EtherCAT-based controllers publish cycle rates up to 10 kHz (ACS EC-PX) and cycle times down to 100 µs (Elmo Titanium Maestro, up to 16 axes).
Which controllers support the most axes?
